Turkey Pot Pie

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup The Honest Kitchen Keen turkey and oats
  • 1 Cup warm water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pound plain ground turkey meat
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 1/2 cup diced carrots plus 2 Tbls.

Method
 

  1. Line the bottom of a loaf pan with parchment paper
  2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  3. Mix together the Keen and warm water.
  4. Stir in the 2 eggs. Mix well.
  5. Stir in the turkey meat.
  6. Add half the mixture to the loaf pan. Sprinkle a layer of carrots, then peas. Spoon the remaining meat mixture over all and pat down slightly. Sprinkle the 2 Tablespoons of carrots on top.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes or until juices run clear.
  8. Serve immediately or let cool, then cut into slices. The slice will hold together better when cool.
  9. Watch your dog drool as you serve him!
